We recommend Smart Health Rider with the entry age from 30 days - 70 years covering medical expenses in lump sum payment up to 5,000,000 Baht/year, for both inpatients and outpatients.

We recommend Elite Health Rider with the entry age until 80 years, providing continuous coverage until the age of 99 years. From 31 January 2020, Elite Health Rider will provide comprehensive coverage until the age of 99 years up to 20 - 100 million Baht per year for both inpatients, outpatients (Plan 2, 3 or 4) and emergency patients anytime and anywhere, including abroad.

We recommend a lump sum health insurance for medical expenses, Smart Health Rider. Always have the health care card with you, and show it when hospitalized at a network hospitals without having to pay in advance. If the medical expenses exceed the limit, you are responsible only in the difference.

Normally, health insurance covers treatments for almost all diseases, except for pre-existing conditions or critical illness which you need to buy a separate insurance.

These 2 types have different features.

• For lump sum benefit, it will be easy to understand and covers all medical expenses in total. All you need to remember is the total coverage limit to not exceed. The premium for this type of insurance is more expensive than hospital and surgical benefit.
• For hospital and surgical benefit, if you don't have a lot of budget and already have existing benefits or health insurance, you may choose the hospital and surgical benefit instead because the premium will be cheaper, but the coverage is for separate medical expenses according to the treatment items, such as daily medical examination fee, surgery fee, anesthesiologist fee, surgery room fees. You may be responsible for the additional expenses in case the expenses are not covered.

For mothers-to-be, we recommend Elite Health Rider (Plan 3 or 4) which provides maternity benefit, both in the case of natural birth and cesarean section, up to 200,000 Baht/time.

For those with a history of treatment until they have recovered, you can try applying for insurance by clearly stating the medical history which the Company may request additional medical history for consideration. However, the consideration of underwriting is in accordance with the Company's criteria.

Because Muang Thai Life Assurance Company is a life-insurance company, customers are required to buy a life insurance first and they buy additional health riders. Hence, you can receive both health coverage and life coverage for peace of mind.

For more comprehensive coverage in addition to the existing welfare benefits, we have top-up health insurance for you. When you are hospitalization, the insurance will pay the excess medical expenses for you. Most importantly, the premiums are not expensive, allowing you to make purchasing decisions easily. When hospitalized, feel free to choose the room you are comfortable with.

Normally, as long as premiums are paid continuously every year, you still receive the same health coverage as before. For the premiums, there will be a normal increase according to age.
